
Described by Cormac Battle, 2fm as “a great new Irish Band”, Juliet’s Rescue are a five-piece indie-pop-rock outfit from Celbridge, Co Kildare. They have recently released their eponymous debut EP ‘Juliet’s Rescue’, recorded with acclaimed producer Neal Calderwood in Manor Park Studios Co Antrim and have received widespread radio-play on stations including Phantom 105.2, RnaG, 2fm, BBC Radio 1(NI) and Today FM where they were lauded by Alison Curtis as “really, really good”.
The band were originally known as Box Social but in December 2009 decided to change their name to Juliet’s Rescue. They have built up a loyal following in the short time they have been together playing gigs in Whelan’s, Radio City, The Button Factory and The Academy 2 in December 2009. In addition, they are one of the youngest bands ever to appear at the Oxegen Festival having played the Hot Press New Bands Stage in July 2009.
